Moment is owned and operated by Fabled LLC ("Moment," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

By using the Moment app or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Moment only collects the information needed to operate the app and provide core functionality.

a. Information you provide

  • Name and email address — if you sign up directly or use Sign in with Apple.
  • User content — journal entries, reflections, notes, and any other content you create in the app.
  • Optional profile data — such as adding friends, pets, or personal events.

b. Information from Apple

If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive the data Apple provides: your Apple ID and, depending on your settings, your name and either your real or private-relay email address. We do not have access to your Apple password or other Apple account data.

c. Automatically collected information

We may collect basic technical details such as your device type, operating system, and app version. We do not use cookies, advertising trackers, or behavioral analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Operate and improve Moment.
  • Sync your data across devices (if you enable syncing).
  • Provide technical support or respond to inquiries.
  • Send important updates about the Service.

We do not sell your personal information, share it for advertising purposes, or build marketing profiles.

3. Third-Party Services

Moment relies on a few trusted service providers to operate securely and reliably. These may include:

  • Apple – Sign in with Apple, iCloud storage, and device services.
  • Firebase or similar services – for crash diagnostics and performance monitoring.

These providers act on our behalf and only process data necessary to operate the Service. They cannot use your information for their own purposes.

4. How to Delete Your Data

You can delete all of your data at any time by deleting your account within the Moment app. When you delete your account, all personal information and journal entries are permanently removed from our systems immediately. If you need help or want confirmation that your data has been deleted, contact privacy@fabled.llc.

5. Security

We use encryption and other reasonable safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we take care to protect your data and limit access only to those who need it to operate the Service.

6. Children's Privacy

Moment is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect or store data from anyone under that age. If we learn that we've collected data from a child, we'll delete it promptly.

7. International Users

Moment is based in the United States and is intended for U.S. users. If you are located outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you may have certain data rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can exercise these rights by contacting privacy@fabled.llc.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you in the app or on our website. Continued use of Moment after a change means you accept the updated policy.
